These Booking Terms & Conditions are presented as part of the A.G.E. Program scheduling process. By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not complete your booking.


1. SERVICES

Your booking includes a virtual consultation with an A.G.E. Advisor and a written, personalized Care Plan.. The Care Plan includes tailored guidance and recommendations and, if appropriate, an optional Proposal of additional services.

2. PAYMENT

The consultation fee is due in full at the time of booking. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received. All fees are non-refundable once the session has taken place.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the session fee. Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for a credit toward a future session at Artichokes & Aging’s discretion. If Artichokes & Aging cancels your session, you will receive a full credit or refund.

3. SCOPE & LIMITATIONS

The A.G.E. Program provides virtual care advisory services only. It does not provide medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, or licensed mental health services. It does not include in-person visits or physical care. Services are intended for adults aged 18 and older; Artichokes & Aging does not knowingly provide services directly to minors.

If you choose to engage additional services following your consultation, those services will be outlined in a written Proposal and governed by a separate Service Agreement.


4. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

The A.G.E. Program is not an emergency or crisis response service and cannot dispatch emergency personnel. In any life-threatening or urgent situation, please call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

Business hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT. Non-emergency communications will receive a response within 2 hours during business hours and no later than 24 hours. Communications received outside of business hours will be addressed the next available business day.

If your Advisor becomes aware of an emergency during your session, they will encourage you to contact 911, will notify your emergency contact as soon as practicable, and will provide available information to assist emergency responders. By booking, you authorize Artichokes & Aging to contact your designated emergency contact in the event of a crisis.


5. PRIVACY & COMMUNICATION

Artichokes & Aging collects your personal and health information for the sole purpose of providing care advisory services. This information is stored securely and will not be sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes. Records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years following the end of services, then securely destroyed.

By booking, you consent to Artichokes & Aging communicating with you via email and text for scheduling, session summaries, care updates, and coordination. You authorize Artichokes & Aging to share relevant information with the providers, agencies, and family members you designate in order to support your care. You acknowledge that electronic communications carry inherent security risks. Booking and payment are processed through third-party platforms whose privacy policies and terms of service apply independently of Artichokes & Aging.

Sessions may not be recorded by Client or any third party without the prior written consent of Artichokes & Aging. California law requires all parties to consent before a conversation is recorded. Artichokes & Aging does not record sessions.


6. TECHNOLOGY & PLATFORM

The A.G.E. Program is delivered using third-party video and communication platforms. Artichokes & Aging is not responsible for disruptions, outages, or technical failures caused by those platforms or by Client’s internet connection or device. If a session cannot be completed due to a technical failure beyond Artichokes & Aging’s control, Artichokes & Aging will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at no additional charge.

7. JURISDICTION

The A.G.E. Program is available to clients regardless of their location. Client agrees that California law governs this Agreement regardless of the state or country from which they access services.

8. IDENTITY & AUTHORIZATION

By booking, Client represents that they are either the individual receiving services or an authorized Responsible Party with legal authority to enter into this Agreement on that person’s behalf. Artichokes & Aging may rely on this representation without independent verification.


9. HOLD HARMLESS

Artichokes & Aging provides advisory and coordination services only and is not responsible for the actions or outcomes of any third-party provider, care facility, or caregiver. By completing your booking, you agree to hold Artichokes & Aging, its owners, employees, and agents harmless from any claims arising from services recommended or coordinated through the A.G.E. Program.


10. AGREEMENT

These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Artichokes & Aging, effective at the moment payment is submitted. No signature is required - proceeding with payment serves as your electronic acceptance of these terms. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you represent that you have legal authority to do so and agree to be bound by these terms on their behalf.
